The London Stock Exchange is partnering with Payward, the parent company of Kraken, to explore tokenising shares of the 100 largest London-listed companies through the xStocks protocol. The first batch is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Subject to regulatory approval, the LSE also plans to explore listing and trading these tokenised securities on its LSE 24 venue.
