Maharashtra BJP Functionary Loses Post Amid Row Over "Extortion" Video

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra has removed its Solapur district (rural) president Shrikant Deshmukh after a video purportedly showing him with a woman went viral, a party leader said.
